2012 Legislative Survey

Dear Friends,

This past week marks the beginning of the 430th Legislative Session of the Maryland General Assembly. While I am spending these 90 days reviewing and discussing legislation with my colleagues and balancing  the Fiscal Year 2013 budget, constituent service remains my number one priority.

To best help me know what issues are important to you, please click here to take my 2012 Legislative Survey.

As we work to create real economic growth, I am prepared, along with my colleagues, to make difficult budget cuts necessary to balance the budget, but at the same time protect our priorities in education, public safety and economic development. These core services will help to ensure that our state can leave the recession faster and more prepared then other states.

As always, your thoughts are important to me. As your Senator, I rely on your input and the input of all my constituents to make the best decisions to help our state move forward. I invite you to share your thoughts with me on some of the issues that will be discussed during the upcoming legislative Session by taking my 2012 legislative survey.

Please click here to take my survey.

As your representative, I do my best work when I am hearing from my constituents. I look forward to hearing from you, seeing you in the community, and working with you to make our community a better place to live, work and raise a family. If you have any ideas, questions or concerns please contact me. You can reach my Annapolis office at 410-841-3578 or 301-858-3578 or by email at john.astle@senate.state.md.us.

Sincerely,

John Astle
